Our Policy

Students at Grace Academy School are expected to abide by a strict code of conduct
as contained in the School Policy. Violation of any item in the School Policy may result
in the student being dropped from their current class. Students who are dropped
must petition for re-entry into the school. These statements contain only the basic
policy. A full printed copy of the School Policy may be obtained from the main office
and includes specific details for each of the items listed below.

School Policy

  1. No drugs, alcohol, pornographic magazines or other unacceptable materials
    are allowed at the school
  2. No fighting. Violence is grounds for immediate removal from school.
  3. No electronic devices are allowed in school buildings. This includes but is not
    limited to cell phones and pagers. If a student needs to be contacted by a
    parent or other person, arrangements must be made through the office.
  4. Swearing, abusive and inappropriate language and gestures are not allowed.
    This includes insubordinate remarks to administration, faculty, and staff
    members.
  5. Students must always put on the prescribed school attire, which also includes
    a low heeled black pair of shoes and white socks.
  6. Students will not be allowed to leave school grounds during class hours.
  7. Students who are dropped for policy violations
    must petition for re-entry. The time and date of the petition hearing is to be
    scheduled through the Headmaster’s office.
  8. Students must keep their grade level at 70% or above.
  9. Students are NOT allowed to sleep during class time.
  10. Any person desiring to visit a student must check in at the office.
  11. Other policies and procedures may be included though not specifically stated
    on this page. Policies and procedures may be changed and updated at any
    time.
  12. Students are expected to treat the auxiliary staff with respect and in the
    manner they treat their regular teacher.
  13. The School Policy is to be followed at all school functions and on all school
    sponsored field trips.
